Amazon India launches Home and Kitchen Store
Amazon India has launched the Home and Kitchen store on Amazon.in. The category offers home and kitchen products including small appliances, dining to home furnishings, home décor and home organization.
“We are very excited to offer a big selection of home and kitchen products at significant savings in time for the festive shopping season,” said Amit Agarwal, Vice President and Country Manager, Amazon India. “The launch is a continuing part of our mission to build a place where customers can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online.”
Amazon stated in the platform stocks over 6000 products in the Kitchen category. Meanwhile, the home decor and home furnishing sections has over 21 Thousand plus products.
A week ago, Amazon India ventured in the fashion and lifestyle categories with the launch of two new stores, Fashion Jewellery and Watches. They have also recently launched Toys & Games, Baby Products, Personal Care Appliances and Health Care Devices.
The portal made its debut in the Indian market in June this year. Ever since it has been aggressively expanding its product portfolio which now includes Books, Movies and TV shows, the Kindle family of E-Readers, Tablets and eBooks, Computers & Accessories, Mobiles & Accessories, Cameras & Photography and Portable Media Players.
