HomeShop18 partners with Forbes India user buy Forbes e-magazine Online

HomeShop18 is now offering products on Forbes India’s e-magazine. Readers can now view and buy HomeShop18 products as a special feature on the last page of the digital magazine and shop directly from the iOS enabled gadgets. Readers can just click on the chosen product and they will be lead to HomeShop18.com for the transaction.

Through this tie-up, HomeShop18 will be able to offer premium branded products and cater to the needs of this niche audience. HomeShop18 claims that its mobile commerce business has shown trajectory growth since its launch in2013.

The company claims that its android application has already crossed 1.3 lakh downloads. HomeShop18 takes this innovation a step ahead by providing a direct payment option for feature phone users while other e-retailers only provide Cash-On-Delivery option on the m-commerce platforms.

In January this year, the company has also installed Virtual Shopping Wall at Delhi International Airport. The Virtual Wall ‘Scan N Shop’ offered premium merchandise to consumers at Terminal 3 (T3) domestic side of New Delhi’s IGI Airport (IGIA).

In April this year, it has raised $ 15 million each from Hong Kong based hedge fund OCP Asia and its promoter Network 18. The transaction values HomeShop18 at USD 330 Million (about Rs 1,799 crore). Network18 continues to hold majority stake (51%+) in the e-tailer. SAIF Partners and GS Home Shopping are the other existing investors. The company has been also in news for planning to go public recently.
