How to insert profile picture in Facebook chat

Previously Facebook chat used to be my last choice of communication. all this changed when facebook introduced the modern messaging system code named project Titan. When Facebook update This I have never gone offline on Facebook chat to avoid chatting on it or told anyone to come on gtalk instead.

Then Facebook added tons of other features to the chat like calling, video calling and many more. Now they have made another little but unique addition to the system which you can now insert your mutual friend’s profile picture in the chat with your friends.

Most of you did not so today, I will be telling you how you can do that. The pictures will be very small but whatever, atleast you can surprise your friends on Facebook.

• Choose the person of which you want to show the profile picture.
• Copy the profile ID. Well, profiles with no username will have an URL like http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=vivekamansamee. Everything that comes after ?id= is the profile ID. If the profile has an username, for example http://www.facebook.com/vivekamansamee then simply right click their profile picture, select ‘Open image in new tab’ and you’ll get an URL like this http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-snc4/371222_1297784385_1893937610.jpg. The midle no is their profile ID.
• So now you have got the profile ID, you simply have to put the ID in between [[ ]]. For example, [[1297784385]]. you have insert the profile id on this [[]]. where 1297784385 is the profile ID.
• Simply paste the double-parenthesised profile ID into the chat-box and viola, you have inserted an profile pic in the chatbox!
