Seventymm Appoints Bhawna Agarwal as Chief Executive Officer

Seventymm Services Pvt Ltd,the company that operates e-commerce site has appointed  Bhawna Agarwal as the company’s new chief executive officer after Mudit Khosla has stepped down from the post. Before, she was serving as Seventymm’s chief operating officer (COO) and played a key role in strengthening the business metrics and re-focusing the e-commerce business.

As CEO, Bhawna Agarwal will be responsible for the overall strategy & direction of Seventymm’s business. Bhawna has over 14 years of experience in leading media houses, Internet companies and start-ups in India. Earlier to Seventymm, she was a founding member of the management team at Yatra.com where she heading P&L responsibility and provided leadership for day-to-day operations such as Alliances, Sales, Product management, Marketing, Business management, Technology, Team management etc.

She had held various key positions such as business head of Times Internet Ltd and manager at Rediff.com.

Bangalore based Seventymm was founded by Raghav Kher back in 2006. Seventymm Services Pvt Ltd is one of India’s fastest growing ecommerce company and home to a wide variety of fashion & lifestyle products. It has raised $21.4 million in funding from venture capital firms Draper Fisher Jurvetson, ePlanet Ventures and IndoUS Venture Partners, and also has offices in Delhi and Gurgaon.

  1. zero inventory market place is understood but who will clear dues of old vendors that run in several lacs, we have a recoverable of 10 lacs and no one is listening.

    ZERO inventory is being done at whose cost? vendors , of course, 1st we were sent P orders , goods were shipped and later we are asked to take back inventories when bills become due for payment, REASON- as claimed by company staff is that ware house model was grossly mismanaged and their left hand was not knowing what the right one was doing.

    It is time that investors took stock of the ecom situation before pumping in millions, these entities are far removed from retailing leave aside etailing.

    in present scenario, we are engaging best legal minds and filing suit for recovery.
