WEBOPower as an online community of women entrepreneurs
New Delhi based DigiVation Digital Solutions has launched WEBOPower as an online community of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Owners. It supports its members by providing access to resources, experts and events, to better manage and grow businesses. www.webopower.com was launched on 20 October 2012.
According to the company, at a concept test, over 30 women entrepreneurs shared their views and inputs about this unique network for women entrepreneurs and business owners. WEBO Power is dedicated to all the women who would wish to pursue their dreams and passions – but are looking for support, inspiration and resources. WEBO Power is an acknowledgement and an expression of gratitude to those who have encouraged & supported women business owners in their entrepreneurial journey.
Summi Gambhir is a founder of WEBOPower. He is a successful woman entrepreneur in her own right. Summi Gambhir says, “WEBO Power is a network that celebrates, connects, encourages and empowers women entrepreneurs and business owners the world over. We recently reported how India is a difficult country to do business in, yet our ever-bright entrepreneurial spirit refuses to die down (so much so that Macedonia has opened its doors to Indian entrepreneurs). At the risk of sounding sexist, it only follows that women would find it a tad bit tougher to operate in our patriarchal country. Hence, start-ups like WEBOPower are a great step towards the empowerment of women and a definitive platform that provides encouragement and support.
