YouTube is down for some users across desktop, mobile, and apps

YouTube appears to be experiencing technical difficulties. The Google owned video service is showing a 500 Internal Server Error for many users, although it’s still not clear exactly how many are affected.

We are seeing problems across both the desktop and mobile site, and the many YouTube apps out there are also having trouble loading content. A search on Facebook and Twitter shows users can’t get to the site at all.
